clinic policies

At Amy Scaffidi Aesthetics, we're committed to providing a welcoming, professional and respectful experience for every patient. To help appointments run smoothly, we've outlined our clinic policies below.

Children at Appointments

As a mum myself, I understand that arranging childcare isn't always possible.

Children are welcome to attend your appointment when needed. We simply ask that they remain supervised throughout your visit to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

Please note that some treatments require your full attention or involve specialised clinical equipment. In these instances, we may recommend arranging childcare where possible to ensure your appointment can be carried out safely and without interruption.

If you're unsure whether bringing your child will be suitable for your appointment, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We'll always do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Providing adequate notice allows us to offer your appointment to another patient who may be waiting. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may result in your booking deposit being forfeited.

Late Arrivals

We understand that unexpected delays can happen.

If you're running late, please contact us as soon as possible.

We'll always do our best to accommodate you; however, arriving late may reduce your treatment time or require your appointment to be rescheduled to ensure we can remain on schedule for all patients.

Health & Wellbeing

Your safety and wellbeing are our highest priorities.

Please let us know before your appointment if there have been any changes to your health, medications, pregnancy status or medical history, as these may impact your treatment.

If you're feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, we kindly ask that you contact us to reschedule your appointment.

Consent & Treatment Suitability

Every patient receives a comprehensive consultation before any treatment is performed.

Recommendations are always based on your individual concerns, goals and clinical suitability.

If a treatment is not considered appropriate or in your best interests, we'll explain why and discuss suitable alternatives. Our commitment is to provide honest, ethical and evidence-informed care, with your safety and wellbeing at the centre of every recommendation.

Questions?

If you have any questions about our clinic policies before your appointment, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

We're always happy to help and look forward to welcoming you to Amy Scaffidi Aesthetics.
